Strengthening security across enterprise banking
Provided security architecture input across IT projects, assessing cyber vulnerabilities, business impact and risk. Oversaw Microsoft Defender XDR capabilities and Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, supporting alignment with NCSC, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and Secure by Design.

Responsible for architecture, security and operational technology across the NHS Employee Services payroll account, leading a team of 200+. Directed service improvements, datacentre transformation, cloud integration and resilience initiatives.

Designing recovery from catastrophic cyber attack
Led a programme valued at over £750m to analyse critical systems, map dependencies and define secure recovery sequencing across thousands of systems, tens of thousands of servers and petabytes of data.

Resilience across a global defence estate
Worked in the CTO’s Office with responsibility for a third of the infrastructure estate. Defined a worldwide disaster recovery plan spanning 675,000 devices, more than 11,000 sites and over 120 countries.
